Bayern Munchen made light of a poor start to the campaign last season to win it all as they completed a domestic double for a third time in last five years while also lifting the Champions League trophy for the first time since 2013. Bayern have wasted little time to further strengthen their position, pulling off a great signing by bringing in Leroy Sane from Manchester City. Alexander Nubel has completed a free transfer from Schalke but will be playing second fiddle to Manuel Neuer at least for the near future while Tanguy Nianzou has been signed with an eye on the future. With regards to departures, Bayern have decided not to persist with their loan signings as Ivan Perisic, Coutinho and Alvaro Odriozola have all returned back to their parent clubs, though the trio never really managed to break into the first choice lineup for both Niko Kovac and Hans Flick. Bayern have built up a good mix of youth and experience in their squad and, with Sane's addition expected to further sharpen their attack, anything less than another domestic double and a strong run in the Champions League will be considered as a disappointment.

Target

League title will be the minimum while also strong runs in the cup competitions will be expected following an impressive debut campaign for Flick
