After several years of blowing promotion campaigns when success looked certain, Furth finally found the winning formula last year and stormed to the top flight. From the previous squad Onuegbu, Asamoah and Nothe are still in place to chase goals while in the midfield the work and creativity of Sararer and Furstner will be appreciated. The side last season effectively played two wingers at full back in an exceptionally attacking 4-4-2 and deciding whether to repeat this gamble against stronger opposition is the manager's main dilemma. Furth will certainly give everything this year but their squad is weak in comparison to others and they may well struggle.
