Had a poor season, but managed to survive at the top level following their late July performances. In fact, they had kicked off the season well and were standing close to the top of the league, but then they were unable to taste any victory in the 10 fixtures before the new year. The board had to make a coach change in 2020 and appointed coach Bulent Korkmaz who led Konya to collect the necessary points. Last season, they were one of the fewest goal scoring teams. In the last 5 fixtures, they scored 12 goals, but they had only collected 24 goals in the 31 fixtures before. So the coach should find a way of scoring more goals as his forwards were quite inefficient. Milosevic, Omer Ali and Miya took the whole offensive responsibility and, at this point, it is a must to bring in a productive attacker. They added Eduok, but he is originally a winger. In the midfield, they added an experienced Musa Cagiran who will be a good option for the coach, but they need to bring one more player considering the injuries of Volkan and Jevtovic. The board penned a new deal with Ugur Demirok. Besides him, Anicic and Selim Ay are still with Konya, but the coach should also hire a young center back considering the long season ahead. Serkan Kirintili is about to leave the team and so they signed Ibrahim Sehic, but the coach needs a good back-up for him.
