The previous season saw Bray finish fifth, nine points below the top four but also well clear of relegation, with this being the third consecutive campaign in which they improved on their league position from the previous season. They have learned some harsh lessons in the first half of the current decade, which saw them be in turmoil on and off the pitch at times and their goal for the mid term remains to keep things steady and continue improving. With this in mind, it is hardly a surprise that they did their best to change as little as possible during the winter, with the big positive being that they manage to keep hold of key man Dylan Connolly, who extended his contract with the club despite being expected to move to Dundalk. Their current manager Harry Kenny was taken over midway through the previous season and delivered decent results in the second half of the campaign, with the fans hoping that he can continue the upward trend now, with additional knowledge of the squad and a chance to bring in signings of his own.

Target

They will be hoping to at least match their last season's campaign and finish fifth, with an outside goal of breaking into the top four. They should have nothing to do with relegation, but how realistic their second goal is, remains to be seen.
