Tiago is a quality centre-half, and Sóbis should provide goalscoring skills despite his advanced age. Luiz Otávio should remain the strongest unit on the side, forming a solid back four with Xavier and new signings Tiago and Pacheco. The midfield is not high in flair but possesses many very competent and consistent players. Playing at home is usually a strength for Vovô due to their devoted fanbase. One wonders what will this post-Covid football reality bring to the Nordestinos.
