TFC had reached two finals last season but they were defeated in both. Of course it was a succesful season but at the end a bittersweet taste was left. The roster remain pretty the same and the most important addition was Pablo Piatti from Espanyol. Piatti is a top quality player but there are questions regarding how much he can stay healthy. The question mark becomes bigger as Piatti has suffered already a hamstring injury and will miss the rest of the preseason. Also another question mark will be whether Jozy Altidore will remain healthy for the whole season. Altidore is the star player of the team and the key factor in scoring. But he is prone to injuries and last season it was Nicolas Benezet who ended up playing at the edge of the attack. But this season there's no Benezet in the team anymore as his loan has been expired. An interesting fact to monitor is Achara's performance. The Nigerian was drafted from TFC at No25 but he has already surprised with his performance having scored three goals in three matches. It will be interesting to see how he will develop this season.

Target

MLS Cup Winners. As they reached the final last season there's only one thing they could imagine for the upcoming season in Toronto. To return on top of the league and lift MLS Cup at the end of the campaign.
