Football Season Guide

Here comes the Super League debutant... Until this year, Alanya were a famous touristic town of Antalya but everybody will start to watch the football team of an about 300.000 populated town. In fact, they could have started to celebrate their promotion earlier but they had to wait until the late days of May in order to win the play-off. Their last season performance was similar to Adana as they did not make a good start and had to make a coach change in September. Then coach Huseyin Kalpar changed the destiny of the team. During the summer, Alanya were almost the most active team of the league. It could be said that they completely built a new team. So the board thanked the most of their first division squad members. They were the most scoring team of the last season and offered the best performance at home in the first league. At this point, Jonathan Ayite had a big role with his thirteen-goal performance. So the board did a good job by keeping him in the team. Along with Sernas and the new arrival Shahbazzadeh, the offence line looks ok. On the net, Haydar decided to stay and the coach also brought experienced Zlamal in. So they are not expected to have any problem on the net. All the defence line is almost new. The most interesting name is Abdoulaye Ba who spent the last season for Fenerbahce. Birol Parlak and Carlos Garcia also arrived. Considering that the coach has already Sulley and Sezer, there should be no problem at the centre-back. The fans will see new players at both flanks. While Erhan & Latifu will be saving the right-back, Kaplienko & Berkan will be saving the left-back. Loanee Tayfur Bingol was the second best scorer of the last season but he was not signed again. In order to replace him, Candeias was added. The coach hopes that he will offer a good performance as well as Tayfur did. Aissati returned to the city but he will play for the little brother this time. The coach will have a sweet dilemma between Taha Yalciner, Emre Akbaba and Gokay Iravul in the midfield. If the debutant team could adapt to eachother in a short time and beat the disadvantage of having many new players, they could finish the season in a safe place.
