Millwall surprised even manager Gary Rowett in the way they came close to making the play-offs last term. The Lions have really taken to their new boss who took over part the way through last season. It has been a good summer for the Lions. They have kept hold of all their regular starters including Jed Wallace, who played a vital role last term. Rowett has also bought well. Mason Bennett has made his loan move permanent while Scott Malone is another arriver from Derby on loan. Malone is a former Millwall player so has the affinity with the club too. Easily, the most interesting signing is the loan arrival of Troy Parrott who should add plenty to the attack, although he will miss the start of the campaign with a quad injury. Millwall have always been strong at home but will need to improve their away record if they are to challenge. They will quietly go about their business and seem to be in a good place.

Target

Will not put any pressure on themselves but a play-off spot is well within reach if they can maintain the standards of last term.
