Nottingham Forest will still be kicking themselves as to how they missed out on making the play-offs, thanks to a heavy defeat by Stoke on the last day. Sabri Lamouchi remains in charge and will hope to put that awful moment out of his and the players' minds pretty quickly and build on the good work they achieved last term, in the top six for most of it. Forest have lost Matty Cash to Aston Villa, arguably their best player last term with a number of impressive performances at right back. They have signed well, the pick being Lyle Taylor, formerly of Charlton. With Taylor and Lewis Grabban they now have a mouthwatering attack, two out and out goalscorers, and will be the envy of plenty of clubs. Forest have not been in the Premier League this century. They are traditionally a big club and will be desperate to get back to the league they feel they belong in. Home form has been good over the last few years but they will need to improve on the record away from home if they are to challenge.

Target

Forest will be aiming, as they do every season, for promotion.
