After coach Safet Susic was appointed in the second part of last season, Alanya never had a problem with survival but they were not able to really achieve stability either. This time, the Bosnian coach will be in charge from the very start of the new season so he will build his own team. That is why the board expect to see a more successful campaign this time around. In order to do that, they have to improve their away form and collect more points. Alanya's biggest problem was certainly in defence. Along with relegated Gaziantep, they conceded the most goals in the Turkish top flight. To remedy this, they first of all added a new keeper from Nantes. It seems like Remy Riou is likely to take the No.1 shirt from Haydar Yilmaz. Kenneth Omeruo's loan spell came to an end so the club added Welinton who spent the last two seasons in Qatar. The league over there isn't the strongest so question marks will remain until the Brazilian performs in Turkey. It is obvious that Alanya need to bring in a more solid centre-back. They did a great job by keeping N’Sakala who can act as a left-back and and offensive winger. In the midfield, new signing Ioannis Maniatis will join Issac Sackey in helping the defence. It was a great achievement to persuade Emre Akbaba and Vagner Love to stay at the club for the new season. The board also added Mbilla Etame to play alongside them. The attack looks impressive but they still need to add some good offensive wingers along with a solid centre-back.

Target

Any comfortable place around mid-table should a realistic target for them.
