Kasimpasa’s good home run helped them to survive last season. This time around, their top priority will be to stay away from the relegation zone once again because the board did not provide a large amount of money for summer transfer market. That is why they could not bring any solid names. Besides that, the fans have seen the departures of three regular members of the first team: Andre Castro, Tunay Torun and Titi. In order to replace Titi who left to join to the league rivals Bursaspor, the board added Syam Ben Youssef who was a first-team player at Caen during the last couple of seasons. Except a few young players, there aren't a lot of centre-back options for the long season ahead. The midfield saw two loan signings in Bernard Mensah and Trezeguet, whose performances weren't great last season, but Markus Neumayr could create a difference in midfield considering he produced 9 goals & 11 assists. Following Torun’s departure, the team lacks a quality right winger. If the board cannot fill this role, coach Kemal Ozdes will try find a solution from the existing squad. Apart from Abdullah Durak and David Pavelka, there aren't any good defensive minded midfielders. Captain Adem Büyük was persuaded to stay for one more season whilst Michael Rangel was loaned in from Junior FC. There is still a huge question mark over him as this is his first experience outside Colombia. In goal, Kasimpasa look secure as Ramazan Kose stayed with the team. Considering that Bengali-Fodé Koita will be out till October because of injury, they may think about adding one more attacker. To summarize, Kasimpasa will have to prepare for a tough fight in order to secure their survival because their squad level looks quite weak for the Super Lig.

Target

To secure survival is their top priority. They also have an eye on a surprise cup run again.
